Apparo Academy is Augusta’s first-of-its-kind inclusive school for children with developmental disabilities, from infants through 7 years of age. Non-profit and faith-based, and with nursing staff on-site at all times, typically-developed siblings are able to attend school alongside their brothers and sisters with an inclusive curriculum.

Apparo’s icon, the “Apparo Sparrow”, symbolizes the overcoming spirit of these children, and references Luke 12:6 (not one [sparrow] is forgotten by God). It also represents how Apparo prepares their students to, one day, ‘fly the nest’ and integrate into a typical school setting.

Bright colors, two custom patterns, and warm typography establish Apparo as welcoming, friendly, and polished.
